I don’t have to justify the fact that I’m a Leafs fan. I am now and I will always be! It’s till death do us part.
I’ve just watched the Wings win their 4th Stanley Cup in eleven years. Not only is it impressive but I’ve seen some things within the team and organization that I think we can all learn from, especially when it comes to LEADERSHIP.
Things I’ve Learned From The Detroit Red Wings:
1) Creating A Family Atmosphere Is Key
2) Longevity Wins
3) Building From Within Works
4) Working As A Team And Assigning Team Roles Brings Success
5) Class Always Comes Out On Top (Character Matters!)
It’s late and I’m not going to expand on those right now, but you know where I’m going with this.
Don’t freak out. I’m not converting! I bleed blue and white (and I think there’s something admirable about that by the way), but you have to give credit where credit is due.
