Really excited about this weekend! We’ve been praying for our students. I believe God is going to do something great in our lives over the weekend and it’s always great to connect with friends from around the province.
I’ve been thinking about TRUTH lately. I am a follower of Jesus. I believe in ABSOLUTE truth. I believe that the WORD became FLESH and that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Obviously working with students you see that not everybody stands on absolute truth.
There may be reasons why…
You see, you can believe in absolute truth and believe that Jesus is the Truth and yet still avoid telling the truth. When I say “telling the truth” I don’t mean sharing Jesus, I mean not lying or living in deception.
I strongly believe that absolutes are not evident in our culture and this is a problem, but I also see that there are many who have the Truth that still lack character and integrity to present the Truth without hypocrisy.
I know we are not perfect and all of us are on a journey, but there has to be humility, character and integrity in presenting the truth of Jesus Christ.
You can tell truth but I guess the question is are you living the truth? As Mark Rutledge would say, “Character Matters!”
My prayer for today is pretty simple. ”God make me more like You so that I can continue to share your Truth.”
